A 24-year-old girl was stabbed to death yesterday afternoon in front of her four-year-old son in Bauru, in the interior of São Paulo.
The security cameras captured the crime, which occurred in front of the condominium where the telemarketing operator Bruna Giovana da Silva lived. The case is treated by the police as femicide, her ex-partner, Luiz Antonio de Araujo Feliz, 26, who is the father of the minor, was arrested today. According to the delegate responsible for the case, Frederico José Simão, confessed to the crime.
Images circulating on the internet show that, around 1:30 in the afternoon yesterday, a silver car appears stopped behind a piece of land, in front of the condominium located in the 38th block of Castelo Branco Avenue, in the Jardim Ouro Verde.
Then Bruna Giovana gets out from behind the car and walks with her 4-year-old son Heitor to the condo where she lived. At the moment, another silver car is stopped on the road, in addition to a motorcyclist and neighbors with children. Suddenly, a man gets out of the car and runs towards the victim, attacks her from behind and throws an object at her until she falls to the ground. The man runs back to the car and the child runs after him, but the car leaves the place and the child runs to the mother lying on the floor.

The video also shows a resident taking the boy away from the mother, while the motorcyclist appears to be calling 911. Samu (Mobile Emergency Care Service) attended the incident, but the young woman could not resist the injuries and died on the spot.
Prison
Chief Simão said that the Military Police received a report that there was a car parked on the Val de Palmas rural highway with the same characteristics as the suspect’s vehicle.
“The police went to the scene and the suspect was in the vehicle sleeping. He confessed to the crime and pointed out where the knife was used to commit the femicide, which still contained traces of blood. The knife was taken by the expert for his DNA examination ”Said the delegate.

According to Simão, the suspect said that he went to the place to take the money from the child’s pension. “He claimed to have had an argument with the victim and, in a moment of nervousness, stabbed him three times, using a knife he had in his car,” said the police officer.
Police said the suspect does not have a defense attorney at this time. He was arrested on the spot and the Judiciary accepted the request for preventive detention. Luiz Antonio will face the crime of femicide and faces up to 12 to 30 years in prison.
