With the contract ending in Mirassol, Camilo signed a pre-contract with Ponte Preta, as reported by the GloboEsporte.com portal on Monday (27). The link with the São Paulo club ends on Tuesday and the midfielder will start playing for Macaca.
The former Colorado was announced by Mirassol at the beginning of the season to play for the club during the Paulista Championship. The end would be this weekend, leaving the midfielder free. Ponte took the opportunity and hired the midfielder to help escape relegation in the state.
Camilo has played for Inter between 2017 and 2019. The midfielder came to the winter window in Colorado, along with Leandro Damião, to reinforce the club in Serie B. With the Internacional shirt he has 51 games and two goals scored.
That season, he had played eight games for Mirassol and scored five goals. When football returns, they will wear the Ponte Preta shirt in the state and in Serie B of the Brasileirão.
