ES will provide aid of R $ 150 for three months to the poorest and baskets of basic food

The main action is the creation of an aid of R $ 150 that will be paid for three months to families in extreme poverty in the State. In total, approximately 70,200 families will benefit. The investment will be R $ 31.6 million and will use funds from the State Treasury.

According to Governor Renato Casagrande, families with children up to six years of age and a per capita income of up to R $ 147 per month will receive the “ES Solidário” card, considered in extreme poverty according to the criteria of the World Bank.

The card will be issued by Banestes and the beneficiaries will be able to use the resource for purchases of any nature, be it food, payment of bills, purchase of gas for cooking, or others.

As was done in the first phase of the pandemic, students of the state public system whose families are enrolled in CadÚnico will receive baskets of basic food worth R $ 100 from April.

The appeal will be sent by the state government to the directors of the schools, who will be responsible for the purchase of food in the basket and its distribution.

Workers and artisans of the solidarity economy will also receive basic food baskets. There are 5,000 government registered people who survive these activities and will therefore be entitled to a food basket.

This group will also receive green baskets, purchased from 300 family farmers. There will be 6 thousand green baskets in total.

The government also foresees the transfer of R $ 300 thousand to the community banks that operate in the territories of the Present State program.

The other two phases will take place in June and September, both with 2,500 vacancies. It will be possible to request the first qualification or change category.

In the statement, it was reported that until April 17 the Companhia Espírito Santense de Saneamento (Cesan) will not cut off the water for non-payment. Accounts due between March 18 and April 4 can be paid until April 9 without interest.

For commercial consumers (70 thousand links) or those enrolled in the Social Rate (36 thousand registrations) it will be possible to face or parcel of dívidas with total forgiveness of juros and fines and parcel in at least 24 months, with a minimum parcel of R $ 30 and 5 % of input.

The March water and sewer bill can be extended for 30 days and divided into three interest-free installments for these two groups.

An announcement will be launched that will deliver up to R $ 300 thousand to five large municipalities (total investment of R $ 1.5 million) to be used in programs and structures aimed at the homeless, such as an increase in the supply of meals, facilities . hygiene and shelter vacancies.

Approximately R $ 4.2 million will also be transferred to institutions for the care of the elderly and inclusive homes for people with disabilities. A total of 50 institutions will benefit.

The package also provides for 200 live artistic presentations organized weekly by the Secretary of State for Culture (Secult) with the aim of raising funds for the ES Solidário program.

The choice of artists will be made by public notice and the rate varies between R $ 2.2 thousand and R $ 7 thousand. Registration begins on April 2 for bands, theater and dance groups, popular culture groups, among others.

Vacancies for vocational training and qualification courses will also be opened. Of the approximately 11,000 vacancies, 10,000 will be offered by the Ministry of Science, Technology, Innovation, Professional Education and Economic Development (Sectides). Another thousand will come from alliances with the Agency for the Development of Micro and Small Business and Entrepreneurship (Aderes), Senai and Senac.

There are also 180 vacancies with scholarships ranging from R $ 300 to R $ 900 per student. The scope is statewide and young people living in regions of the State of the State program, that is, of social vulnerability, will be considered.

The state executive will also issue a public notice for the hiring of 1,000 entrepreneurs in the areas of food and sewing.
