Registration for the National High School Exam (Enem) 2020 begins on Monday (11) and runs until May 22. They can be done through the Enem website.
Enem digital
Starting this year, Enem will have two types of tests, the printed ones, with an application scheduled for November 1 and 8, and the digital ones, for November 22 and 29. The participant who chooses to take the printed Enem will not be able to enroll in the digital edition and, after completing the process, will not be able to change their option.
The structure of the two exams will be the same. Four objective tests will be applied, consisting of 45 questions each, and an essay in Portuguese. During the registration process, the participant must select a foreign language option: English or Spanish.
This year, it will be mandatory to include a current photo of the participant in the registration system, which must be used for identification at the time of the race. The registration fee is R $ 85 and must be paid before May 28.
Fee waiver
According to the National Institute of Educational Studies and Research, Anísio Teixeira (Inep), all participants who meet the profiles specified in the notices, even without a formal request, will be exempt from the fee. The rule applies to both participants who choose the printed Enem as well as those who choose the digital Enem and even applies to those exempt in 2019 who missed the two days of trial and did not justify the absence.
Therefore, when registering for Enem 2020, applicants attending the last year of high school this year, in any type of education, in a public school declared to the Census of Basic Education will be exempt from taxes; have completed all secondary schools in public schools or as full scholarships in the private network and have a per capita family income equal to or less than a minimum and a half salary; o Declare to be in a situation of socioeconomic vulnerability, since they are members of low-income families and are registered in the Federal Government’s Single Registry for Social Programs (CadÚnico), which requires a per capita family income of up to half the minimum wage or a monthly family income of up to three minimum wages.

Accessibility
Inep’s Accessibility and Inclusion Policy aims to provide specialized assistance to participants who need it. To facilitate understanding at enrollment, specific services (pregnant women, nursing mothers, the elderly, and students in hospital classes) were included in the term “specialized.” Requests for these calls must also be made between May 11-22. The results will be released on May 29. For denied requests, an appeal phase is planned. The final result will be available on June 10.
Requests for treatment by company name will be made between May 25 and 29, and the results are expected to be published on June 5. The period for filing appeals will be between June 8 and 12 and the final results will be available on June 18.
