“I think we did both times below what we did against Brazil-RS, although the result there was adverse. But there, the team had been aggressive, finished a lot, it was attractive. And today, in both halves, the team did not do what we could have done, “he said.
The inconsistency from one game to another, in Enderson’s opinion, has hampered Cruzeiro, who completed the fifth game without winning in Serie B. “The lack of regularity is what makes us lose so many points, lose the opportunities to win the victories ”, the coach stressed.
“The difficulty for our team at the moment is trying to maintain consistency, fit the pieces better, make the games more consistent and better, much better than we did today,” Enderson added.
Given the poor results, the fans are already unhappy with Cruzeiro and have been demanding changes, whether they are pieces in the starting line-up or even the change of coach. Enderson gave reasons to the fans in relation to the problems of the team and said that the group has been delivering “a football that falls very short”.
“We are upset, as the fan is upset. We are a bit disappointed because the fans deserved an even better match. We needed to deserve the victory, we needed to finish more and have a more aggressive team. This is our dissatisfaction and the fan is right. A football far below what this team can deliver ”, he concluded.
With the result, Cruzeiro stayed close to the relegation zone, in 16th place, with five points, the same score as Figueirense, the first team out of Z4, but ahead in number of victories.
