A simple note was in charge of saving the life of a woman in Colatina, Espírito Santo. The victim remained in private prison at her home after being beaten by her partner.
The message on paper reached the police who rescued the woman. The suspect of committing the attacks was arrested last Wednesday (23).
The woman reported that her partner became angry after she asked him not to urinate on the street. The report appears in the police report, neither the name of the victim nor the assailant was released.
“He didn’t like that she said not to urinate in the middle of the street and there he started offending her. She says that when they got home he kicked and punched her in the rib. She also hit her head on the floor of the room, ”said Sergeant Antônio Rodrigues, who answered the case, according to UOL Universa.
The sergeant also said the man continued to assault his partner in front of the nine and five-year-old boys.
“There was an hour when he threatened to beat his nine-year-old son. She came forward to defend, but was punched in the eye, “he said.
Even injured, the victim managed to write the note and gave it to one of the children, who managed to jump out the window and deliver the distress call to a neighbor. She and her children were locked in the house by the attacker. The police were called and when they arrived at the scene they heard threats from her partner.
“We saw from the outside that he was very upset and threatened to go after the children, then we went in,” he said.
The police managed to rescue the victim and the children. The aggressor tried to resist arrest, but was immobilized and detained. Along with the man, the police also found a .22 caliber revolver placed.
Arrested, the companion was charged with bodily injury, private imprisonment and illegal possession of a firearm.
It is not the first time that the abuser has caused problems for his partner. The suspect has already caused the victim to lose a baby due to the assaults.
