Diego Molina’s image was not the only one that appeared on the internet of a funeral director responsible for Diego Maradona’s funeral. Claudio Fernández was another employee fired for taking a photo, with his son, with the coffin of the former Argentine player.

The distinctive photographs disprove the funeral home’s version that a photo would have been taken within seconds by contract employees who had just brought the casket to the chapel.
– It was two seconds. They are not our employees. They were only going to take the materials to the chapel. They didn’t even install the coffin. We did this work with my brothers. But since there were many objects and heavy items, we hired these people to carry the materials in another vehicle and not damage the coffin – said one of the owners of the funeral home to the newspaper La Nación, in Argentina.
