This week, the R $ 600 emergency aid ends the payment of another batch of beneficiaries. This Monday (28), 7.8 million beneficiaries, all born in October and November, received emergency assistance of R $ 600 in a digital social savings account of Caixa Econômica Federal.
Although the payment was made to both groups at the same time, those born in October and those born in November may be paid on different dates. Those born in October will have a withdrawal and bank transfer from October 20. And those born in November, starting on October 22.
Until then, the two groups will be able to move the money only through the Caixa Tem application, for the payment of distributor invoices, payment slips, purchases with a virtual debit card and via QR code.
On Wednesday (30), the emergency aid of R $ 600 will be delivered to 3.8 million beneficiaries born in December. The money will be deposited in Caixa’s digital social savings account and can be withdrawn in cash from October 27.
The payment of the first installment of R $ 300 of residual emergency aid also ends this week for the beneficiaries of Bolsa Família. This Monday (28), the first installment of R $ 300 was paid to those who have a Social Identification Number (NIS) ended on 8. On Tuesday (29), it will be paid to those who have a NIS ended on the 9. (30), for those who have finished NIS at 0, closing the September calendar for this group.
Finally, also this week, Caixa Econômica Federal will announce the withdrawal of aid in cash for 4.1 million workers born in March. This launch takes place this Tuesday (29).

President Jair Bolsonaro announced the extension of the emergency aid for four months in the amount of R $ 300. The extension of the aid has already been made official through a provisional measure and must now be approved by deputies and senators in the National Congress.
“It is not enough for all needs, but basically it does. The amount just defined is a little more than 50% of the value of Bolsa Família. So we decided here, even taking into account the economy on fiscal responsibility, to set it at R $ 300, “said Bolsonaro.
This year, the Executive deposited five installments of R $ 600 for aid beneficiaries, with the aim of helping Brazilians with low income, informal, MEI, self-employed and unemployed.
President Jair Bolsonaro had already reported on the reduction in the amount of the benefit and argues that, if the amount may seem small to Brazilians affected by the pandemic, “it is a lot for those who pay, in this case, Brazil.”
According to calculations made by the economic team, the monthly cost of the benefit was R $ 50 billion per month during the first phase of the program.
