In some states of the country, ICMS tax collection this year exceeded 10% compared to the same period in 2019. The states are: Roraima (17.38%), Mato Grosso (12.68%), Pará (12 , 55%) and Rondônia (11.25%).
According to Febrafite, the withdrawal of the end of the fiscal stimulus, planned for next year, may have the opposite effect, which should require caution from the states not to worsen the fiscal situation.
