Emergency aid: calendar from the 6th installment

The publication of the calendar of the 6th delivery of emergency assistance to the public is scheduled for this Monday (28) that was registered through the website or application of Caixa Econômica Federal or registered in CadÚnico (Unique Registry of Government Social Programs Federal).

On Monday of last week, the Minister of Citizenship, Onyx Lorenzoni, said at a press conference in Palmas, Tocantins, that tomorrow the schedule of the new fees of R $ 300 (R $ 600 for single mothers) and that the beneficiaries would begin to receive the sixth installment in September.

As with the rest of the installments, the calendar must begin with those born in January, evolving according to the month of birth of the beneficiaries and dividing between dates of payment into account (Caixa Tem) and release for retirement.

The first to receive the first installment after the extension of the aid are registered in Bolsa Família, which they receive according to the same calendar of the national income program. Payments began on September 17, covering beneficiaries with NIS (Social Identification Number) ending in 1. They will resume this week, when they will receive those with NIS ending in 8 (Monday), 9 (Tuesday) and 0 ( fourth), thus ending the schedule for the 6th delivery to the public of Bolsa Família.

The federal government announced, in a decree (No. 10,488) published in an extra edition of the Official Gazette (DOU) of September 16, the criteria for receiving the new R $ 300 quotas for emergency aid. See below who will not receive.

  1. have an active formal employment relationship acquired after receiving emergency assistance;
  2. receive social assistance or security benefit or unemployment insurance benefit or federal income transfer program, acquired after receiving emergency assistance, except for the Bolsa Família Program benefits;
  3. add monthly family income per capita (per person) above half the minimum wage and total monthly family income above three minimum wages;
  4. is a resident abroad;
  5. has received, in 2019, taxable income (Income Tax) higher than R $ 28,559.70;
  6. had, as of December 31, 2019, possession or ownership of goods or rights, including vacant land, with a total value greater than R $ 300,000;
  7. has received, in 2019, income exempt, not taxable or taxed exclusively at source, the sum of which was greater than R $ 40,000;
  8. has been included, in 2019, as a dependent of the Individual Income Tax declarant as spouse, companion with whom the taxpayer has a child or with whom they have lived for more than five years or a son or stepchild under 21 years of age or less than 24 years old who is enrolled in an institution of higher education or secondary technical education;
  9. he is imprisoned in a closed regime;
  10. is under 18 years of age, except in the case of adolescent mothers; or
  11. has a death sign in federal government databases.

According to the decree, they are not prevented from receiving residual emergency aid, interns, medical residents and multiprofessionals, recipients of a grant from the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (Capes) and the Student Financing Fund.

The decree also defines that the worker’s registration in the Registry of Individual Taxpayers (CPF) is mandatory for the payment of residual emergency aid and their situation must be regularized with the Special Secretariat of Federal Revenues of Brazil of the Ministry of Economy. The exception is for workers who are members of beneficiary families of the Bolsa Família Program, who may receive it through the CPF registration number or the Social Identification Number (NIS).

Also according to the government, the receipt of residual emergency aid is limited to two quotas per family, and single mothers will receive two residual emergency aid quotas.

The beneficiaries of Bolsa Família had an eligibility evaluation carried out by the Ministry of Citizenship – according to Provisional Measure No. 1,000, of September 2, 2020. If the value of Bolsa Família is equal to or greater than R $ 300 or R $ 600, the beneficiary will receive the Bolsa Família.

Emergency help

Caixa reached, last Friday (25), the mark of 304.5 million payments for emergency aid, serving 67.2 million people. The payments total an amount of R $ 207.9 billion made available by the federal government, with the aim of mitigating the impacts of the new coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic on the income of the Brazilian population.

Caixa also reported that it processed 109.1 million registrations for emergency assistance. There were 1.73 billion visits to the site created for the program; more than 120 million downloads the application of emergency help; more than 522 million calls to 111 headquarters and more than 240 million calls downloads of the Caixa Tem application.
