Caixa Econômica Federal (CEF) vice president of retail sales Paulo Henrique Angelo said the bank is waiting for the federal government to release the new emergency aid schedule to detail how the next installments will be paid.
“As for the schedule, this disclosure will be made by the federal government. The case is pending such disclosure to pass then operational data on this payment,” he said during a press conference on Monday (11).
He also reported that Caixa expects to receive until Tuesday (12) a new batch of Dataprev and the Ministry of Citizenship with the responses to requests for assistance that are under analysis.
“As soon as we receive the file, we will process and communicate the details of the payment to the people who were targeted,” Angelo said.
During a virtual meeting of the mixed committee of Congress, the president of Caixa, Pedro Guimarães, emphasized that 17 million people who requested assistance should receive a response by tomorrow, highlights Valor Online.
According to Caixa’s retail vice president, the bank is now focused on finalizing the payment of the first installment of aid, but is also prepared to start the new schedule.
“Caixa is ready to start paying the second installment based on all the measures we have taken and which have had practical results. We hope that the second installment will have an even more uniform payment,” he said.

There are three different payment schedules:
- one for those who signed up for Emergency Help through application or program website;
- one second for beneficiaries who receive the Family scholarship;
- and a third for registered in the Single Registry who do not receive Bolsa Família and heads of household.

1. Subscribers to the application and the website.
- A first delivery for these beneficiaries it began to be paid on April 14. Payments are made within five business days after registration. However, many beneficiaries complain of late payments and claim that this deadline has not been met.
- For the second deliveryCaixa even announced the payment in advance, but the Ministry of Citizenship reported that the government could not anticipate it. Initially scheduled to start next Monday (27), payments for the second installment of Emergency Aid have not yet been defined.
- A third and last installment is scheduled for May:

2. Beneficiaries of Bolsa Família
Beneficiaries of Bolsa Família will receive on the same dates and in the same way that they receive this benefit.
- A first delivery Emergency aid has already been paid to those whose last digit in the NIS equals 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5. The rest follow the calendar:
– Friday (24): 1,919,453 beneficiaries whose last digit in the NIS equals 6
– Monday (27): 1,921,061 beneficiaries whose last NIS digit equals 7
– Tuesday (28): 1,917,991 beneficiaries whose last digit in the NIS equals 8
– Wednesday (29): 1,920,953 beneficiaries whose last digit in the NIS equals 9
– Thursday (30): 1,918,047 beneficiaries whose last digit in the NIS equals 0 - Second delivery: Last ten business days in May
- Third installment: Last ten business days in June
3. Registrants in the Single Registry who do not receive Bolsa Família
- A first delivery it was credited to these beneficiaries between April 14 and 17. Another 1.2 million beneficiaries whose entries were validated by Dataprev last Sunday will receive on Wednesday (22).

Caixa is automatically opening digital savings accounts for beneficiaries considered eligible for emergency assistance and who do not have another bank account or are beneficiaries of Bolsa Família.
Those who receive credit through the digital account can make unlimited transfers between Caixa accounts or make up to three transfers to other banks for free each month, for the next 90 days. In addition, they can pay bills and bills for water, electricity, telephone, among others. The account is exempt from fees.

Digital savings withdrawals
To avoid crowding at branches, Caixa has established a calendar for beneficiaries who wish to withdraw in cash the amount deposited in the digital savings open to workers:
- April 27 – born January and February
- April 28 – born March and April
- April 29 – born May and June
- April 30 – born July and August
- May 4 – born September and October
- May 5 – born in November and December
Informal workers face queues to receive aid of R $ 600 in cash
For three months, R $ 600 emergency assistance will be granted to the worker who complies all these requirements:
- be over 18 years of age with regular CPF;
- they have no formal employment;
- not have a social security or assistance benefit, beneficiary of unemployment insurance or federal income transfer program, with the exception of Bolsa Família;
- have a monthly family income of up to half a minimum wage per person (R $ 522.50) or a total monthly family income of up to three minimum wages (R $ 3,135);
- that, in 2018, did not receive taxable income above R $ 28,559.70 in 2018.
Aid will be reduced if non-compliance with these requirements is found. The worker must exercise activity on the condition that:
- individual microentrepreneur (MEI);
- individual taxpayer to the General Social Security System who works for himself;
- employed, self-employed or unemployed informal worker
- blinking idle
- be registered in the Single Registry of Social Programs of the Federal Government (CadÚnico), until March 20, 2020
- or who meets the monthly household income criteria listed above, provided you make a self-declaration on the government website.
A woman who is a mother and head of the family and who meets the other criteria can receive R $ 1,200 (two installments) per month.
In the family income, all the income obtained by all the members who live in the same household will be considered, except for Bolsa Família money.
Anyone who receives a benefit other than Bolsa Família (such as unemployment and retirement insurance) will not be entitled to emergency assistance.
Workers can order in the following ways:
The app and website should be used by workers who are individual microentrepreneurs (MEI), unregistered informal workers and individual INSS taxpayers.

Caixa also made available the phone 111 to answer workers’ questions about emergency aid. It will not be possible to register by phone, just ask questions.
