Palmeiras returned to the Futebol Academy field on Saturday afternoon, in the first training session for the squad in 2021, which also marked the beginning of the preparation for the match against River Plate.
Absent in the last two games (Red Bull Bragantino and América-MG), Zé Rafael recovered from an infection in his left foot and participated in all the activity promoted by Abel Ferreira. The midfielder may be related for the trip to Argentina.

A probable team has: Weverton; Marcos Rocha, Luan, Gustavo Gómez and Matías Viña; Danilo, Gabriel Menino and Raphael Veiga; Ron, Gustavo Scarpa and Luiz Adriano.
In transition, forwards Gabriel Silva and Gabriel Veron participated in part of the tactical work and then continued the physical training schedule on the field.
In the Academy, Abel Ferreira and his commission promoted a tactical activity divided by sectors before a group with patterns of movements and passes.

Alan and Wesley made progress in recovering from surgery and took to the field accompanied by physical therapists: the midfielder broke his left leg in October and the forward injured his left knee in November.
Guaranteed in the final of the Copa do Brasil, Palmeiras now turns his attention to the Libertadores. The first meeting of the semifinal of the South American tournament will be played next Tuesday, at 9:30 p.m., in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
