Júlio Mora was born on March 10, 1910 and Quinteros on October 16, 1915. They were married on February 7, 1941, in the first church built by the Spanish in Quito: The Church of El Belen.

The two retired teachers live in Quito, the capital of Ecuador, where in mid-August received Guinness certification.

Daughter Cecilia says they are lucid and active, although they no longer have the agility they used to have. But “they have been different for a month, more dejected because they miss the big family reunions.”

They have four children, 11 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
