Durcesio had a total of 477 votes (57.8%), against 219 Walmer machado (26.5%) and 124 of Alessandro leite (15.0%) – there were still two blank votes and three invalid votes. The winning ticket will have the right to 140 vacancies in the transitory body of the new Deliberative Council. By statute, Durcesio takes office on January 1, 2021.
The election went smoothly during the day, but attempts were made to invade during the count, at the end of the night. Security at the club was reinforced, with a large number of Military Police and Municipal Guard, in addition to private security guards. Attendance was short – only 825 votes were recorded, out of a total of 1,691 eligible members.
