Several users decided to develop their own versions of the new Playstation 5 controller.
Last Monday (07), the Sony surprised everyone and revealed to the world DualSense, the future control that will accompany your future console, Playstation 5. Among the various novelties presented, something that caught our attention was the new joystick color scheme, which now has a two-tone design (black and white).
This new style ended up pleasing some and displeasing others, but this revelation ended up sharpening the creative mind of several people, who hours after the presentation of DualSense, began to publish your own design ideas for future control of the PS5.
First, the user Bedroom, through Sony’s next-generation console community on Reddit, has released four DualSense variations inspired by four of the major Playstation franchises: God of War, The Last of Us, Spider Man and Horizon Zero Down, which could easily become collector versions.
For fans of “Limited Edition” controls, through Twitter, the user @Kimpchuu I envisioned a possible version of DualSense inspired by the franchise Kingdom Hearts, mixing black and white with more elegance.
The user H4WK1NG, on Reddit, was a bit more simplistic and featured nine DualSense variants with change only in control colors, maintaining the design proposed by Sony.
What would you think of having a Sony video game joystick with a mask for the main character on Nintendo consoles? Through Reddit, the user Flexisisboss designed a beautiful franchise-inspired DualSense Super Mario Bros, and the result is incredible (although, possibly, this will not be officially done).
Something that many thought for the first time when seeing the future PS5 joystick is what it would be like if it followed the pattern of previous controls launched by Sony and Twitter, the user @Mucrush satisfied the will of many and DualSense redesigned in the usual dark color, characteristic of the old DualShock generation.
And for the most nostalgic fans, the user @Elca_Gaming presented a model inspired by the first DualShock, control that made its debut in 1994 along with the Playstation 1.
What remains now is to wait for the arrival of the new Sony console, the Playstation 5, with DualSense, which should be launched in the End of 2020.
