Two men were arrested in flagrante delicto after the Federal Highway Police (PRF) seized a vehicle that was transporting 31.12 kg of cocaine base paste in Caucaia, in the Metropolitan Region of Fortaleza, this Thursday morning (19). The drug was evaluated R $ 3.9 million.
PRF agents were moving along kilometer 38 of state highway CE-085, when they noticed a suspicious maneuver by the Mitsubishi MMC / L200 Triton vehicle, which made the agents approach. The car was driven by a 45-year-old man and a 64-year-old was a passenger.
During the approach, the driver and passenger presented contradictory information, which raised the suspicion of the team that, after an inspection of the vehicle, they found the drug under the floor of the vehicle’s body.
The drug, the vehicle and the suspects were sent to the Federal Police of Fortaleza, where the case was registered.
