Del Valle provokes Palmeiras and remakes Piqué’s meme to announce Ramírez’s stay: ‘If I fall’

Independiente del Valle is classified in the knockout stages of the Libertadores and took the opportunity to provoke Palmeiras. After beating Barcelona 1-0 on Wednesday, the Ecuadorian club remade the Piqué “se querda” meme, to impose on the São Paulo club the permanence of coach Miguel Ángel Ramírez.

On the occasion, before striker Neymar left for Paris Saint-Germain, Piqué posted a photo on social networks with the legend “if he falls” (he stays, in literal translation), but ended up leaving the Catalan team.

In the case of Palmeiras, the São Paulo club negotiated with the coach to take over the club after coach Vanderlei Luxemburg left, but Ramírez preferred to stay at Del Valle.

Looking for a replacement for Vanderlei Luxembourg, Palmeiras is targeting the 62-year-old Spaniard Quique Setien. At least that is what the Spanish newspaper ‘Marca’ guarantees, which revealed that Alviverde sought information on the former Barça coach and is evaluating his hiring.
