The military policeman suspected of participating in the murder of the misdemeanor Fernando Iggnácio emptied the closet that remains in the battalion after the last shift, on November 15, according to information from the spokesman for the Military Police.
Colonel Gabryela Dantas said the prime minister, who is on the run, would have removed the belongings from the space and even taken the lock. After that, he was no longer seen.
Dantas also said that the PM has a history of bad behavior with failures and late shifts, and would be barred from the corporation after entering the CRD (Disciplinary Review Board) for negative attitudes.
“His disciplinary record shows absences and tardies. He was a bad cop for not having a commitment to the corporation, ”said the colonel.
The Civil Police asked the Justice on Wednesday (18) the temporary detention of the police, which serves in the fifth BPM (Praça da Harmonia). The soldier is considered a fugitive after the issuance of an arrest warrant against him.
Fernando Iggnácio was shot and killed on November 10 in the parking lot of a heliport in Recreio dos Bandeirantes, on the west side of Rio. He had returned from Angra dos Reis, on the Costa Verde, and went to look for the car in the parking lot when he was hit. The Civil Police confirmed that five shots hit Fernando Iggnácio.
Footage from security cameras near the crime scene recorded the leak, allowing investigators to trace the route taken by the suspects. From the information, the Civil Police arrived at a residential condominium in Campo Grande, also on the west side, where the PM’s wife lives.
Throughout, four rifles were seized on the property, one is FAL 7.62, one is 5.56 and two AK-47s. In the ballistic confrontation, investigators confirmed that one of the weapons was used in the crime. The soldier’s wife testified on Wednesday (18), according to the police.
Fernando Iggnácio was the offender’s son-in-law Andrade Beaver, who passed away in 1997. He had already been the target of investigations related to homicides and against the slot mafia.
