Neylor Eduardo de Siqueira Dias, 33, was arrested in preventive custody for the femicide of Daiana dos Santos da Silva, stabbed to death in the parking lot of the beauty salon where he worked on the morning of Thursday 27.
He was arrested on the spot by the Military Police shortly after the crime. They found Eduardo at his house in the Fortaleza neighborhood. The suspect must remain in detention until the crime is solved.
According to delegate Felipe Orsi, it is still necessary to carry out crime reports and analyze images from security cameras. However, the manner in which the crime occurred is already clear.
The act “Justice for Daiana, Justice for all” will take place from 6:00 p.m. on Friday 27. Organized by 8M Blumenau, the demonstration will take place in Praça Dr. Blumenau, on XV de Novembro street.
The aim is to draw attention to the issue of violence against women, which often results in femicides. This year, Margarete Zanella was murdered by her partner, who did not accept the separation.
Daiana dos Santos da Silva was 27 years old, she was born in Sete Lagoas, in Minas Gerais. She worked as a hairdresser at Espalo Margarete – the beauty salon where she was murdered – and also as a photographic model.
