Flag changes in the capital

Curitiba displayed the orange flag for the first time from June to August. During this period, the operation of bars, parks and sports clubs was prohibited.

The city administration had to extend the determinations of the orange flag twice. The first took place on August 3, when the city government extended the opening hours of shopping centers and street businesses.

The second extension was on August 10, but this time, the administration did not make any changes to the document, keeping the operation of activities more restricted during the weekends.

On August 18, the decree that determined the yellow flag in Curitiba released bars, parks and markets.

However, on September 7, the capital returned to the orange flag, closing bars and restricting the operation of shops and supermarkets. The measure was in effect until September 25.
