Featuring cutting-edge graphics, the Crytek game will be released soon for PC and consoles.
A Crytek recently announced Crysis remastered, which will be an updated version of the classic game that still challenges computers. The new edition of the game will focus on the story and will not feature multiplayer, and new evidence suggests that the Warhead expansion can be included in the relaunch of the game.
The hint that the standalone expansion may be available within the remastered version was first given by Crytek himself. In the press release in which it revealed the game, the company said Crysis Remastered will focus on “single player campaigns” from the original game, in the plural.
In addition to the advice left by Crytek, one of the top names in Saber Interactive, which is working on remastering, he also hinted that we will have two campaigns in the relaunch. The studio’s creative chief, Tim Willits, posted on Twitter saying “more details about the remasters” are coming soon. Then he deleted the message.
Crytek did not provide any clarification on the matter, but it looks like we will have more details on Crysis Remastered soon. Today (21), the company posted on Twitter that the title now has a Official discord, where information on the development of the title should be disclosed in the future.
So far, the company has only shown a brief preview of the game and revealed what graphics technologies we’ll have in the remastering, including Ray Tracing through the software. Crysis Remastered will launch between June and September this year and will have versions for PC, PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
