In a truncated match with a low technical level, CRB and Cruzeiro only drew 0-0, tonight (8), at the Rei Pelé stadium, for the 27th round of Series B of the Brazilian Championship. The result interrupts a streak of two consecutive victories for Raposa and increases the negative streak of Alagoas, who have not won in five games (three losses and two draws).
The draw was not good for Cruzeiro, who are fighting tirelessly to increase their chances of reaching Serie A next year. Luiz Felipe Scolari’s team has just one point and is ranked 11, with 35 points. The CRB is 12th and has 34 points.
Cruzeiro’s next game is scheduled for this Friday (11), at 9:30 p.m., in Barradão, against Vitória. CRB, for its part, visits the Chapecoense, in Arena Condá, at 9 pm on Saturday.
Four meetings
No other rival has played as many games against Cruzeiro this season as CRB. With tonight’s game there were four games, and the Alagoas won one and there was a draw in the other two games. The teams, in addition to the Series second, also met in the third phase of the Copa do Brasil.
In these previous meetings, the star of Léo Gamalho, a forward who left the Alagoas team to play for Qatar’s Al-Khor, shone. Luckily for Cruzeiro, as the center forward had scored four goals in those games
The game
The first half was very “caught”, with both teams scoring hard, contesting possession of the ball with some harshness and this generated firmer plays. The judge managed to handle the nervousness of both teams well, but handed out yellow cards to the CRB team, which committed harder fouls.

One of the highlights of the Cruzeiro, Manoel was a strong barrier against the CRB attackers. The defender did not play in service, he kicked when necessary, won many aerial disputes and prevented plays that could create danger for goalkeeper Fábio
Who was wrong: Diego Torres
CRB creative Diego Torres missed a clear chance to score in the second half, “falling as a mature man” to goalkeeper Fábio. The player worked more like a “polisher” and was unable to help his team win.
