M.2 devices use 3D TLC NAND memories and have up to a five-year warranty
A Crucial recently featured more SSD for line P. After bringing the P2 models to market, the company played better and revealed the new models of the line P5. Storage units follow the standard M.2-2280 NVMe and have up 2 TB of capacity.
According to the company, P5 series SSDs are based on PCI-Express gen 3.0 x4 and use memories 3D TLC NAND. In total, the line has four models of storage units, all with sequential reading of 3,400 MB / s.

The P5 line’s SSD input has 250GB of storage and comes with 1,400MB / s sequential write. The other models are 500GB, 1TB, and 2TB, and all offer 3000MB / s write. Devices carry a five-year warranty, but durability varies by capacity.

According to the manufacturer, the 250GB SSD has a registered terabyte rate of 150TBW, while the 500GB version has 200TBW. In the 1 TB and 2 TB models, the durability tests showed 600 TBW and 1.2 PBW, respectively.
So far, Crucial has not disclosed the price and when the new SSDs will hit the market. However, the company said that devices on the P5 line will not launch simultaneously and that some models may take longer to become available on the market.
