Senator Antonio Anastasia (PSD) used his account in Twitter, this Tuesday (12/8), to talk about the COVID-19 vaccine. In the tweet, Anastasia said that draft of his authorship, which became Law 14.006, determines that if, within 72 hours, Anvisa does not analyze the modification presented in the project, its authorization will be automatic.

According to policy, Law 14.006 establishes that, to combat the new coronavirus, the authorities should take the measures that authorize “the importation and distribution of drugs considered essential to combat the pandemic, provided that registered in the corresponding Agency in the United States, Europe, Japan or China ”. The Senate approved the initiative a few months ago and sanctioned the law as “Law 14.006, of 2020”.

He also said that Anvisa has to grant authorization in up to 72 hours “because nothing it is more important than the life, health and safety of all ”.
