The search for coronavirus exams in São Paulo’s private network has exploded in recent days and has caused laboratories in the capital to invest in tests in the drive-thru scheme or with home collection, which cost between R $ 150 and R $ 450.

High demand, especially by people who do not have symptoms, can cause tests to be lacking in the private system, as has already happened in the public network, according to the Brazilian Association of Diagnostic Medicine (Abramed).
