The leader Inter had one more player from the three minutes of the first half and still bitter a defeat by 1 to 0 against the then Goiás bluff this Sunday, in Serrinha, for the tenth day of Brasileirão. In the analysis, the coach said that his team lacked effectiveness in achieving a total of 17 presentations, 11 of them in the second half. He also said that it was difficult to explain a defeat in which the opponent finished only once in goal. And he left with victory.
– (What frustrates the most is) The result. If we analyze the game, we lacked effectiveness. It is difficult to explain when, in a presentation, you lose the game. I look bad. They no longer finished us. There were no arrivals, shots on goal. Goiás defended himself as best he could. He did it in good shape. And the situations we had, we couldn’t convert. This is the debt of not having been very effective. I repeat again. We have limitations. But we will always try to supply and be competitive – says the technician.
Coudet also tried to explain why Inter abused both the crosses and the only play to enter the Goiás area. According to the technician, the lateral plays were the possible alternative to try to submit to a block with two lines of four armed. by the rival. There were more than 60 air balls in the game.

– How would we generate situations from below if the two lines were in front of the area? It happened because it was the only way to get in and have a presentation. They were far behind, with practically everyone in the area. Very few times we were able to shoot from outside the area, head on. Have a presence. It was not something planned, it is not what characterizes us. We try to fold the sides and finish off the crosses. The low ball, when we had more presence, was not possible – he explains.
Even with the defeat, Inter is still the leader of Brasileirão, with 20 points. But now the focus is on Libertadores.
Next Wednesday, at 7.15pm, the team welcomes América de Cali in Beira-Rio for the 3rd round of the group stage. For Nacional, the next meeting is scheduled for Saturday, at 7:00 p.m., against Fortaleza in Castelão, for the eleventh day.
