In confirmed cases, there were 4,121,203 Brazilians with the new coronavirus since the start of the pandemic, 34,487 of which were confirmed on the last day. The moving average of cases was 39,466 per day, a variation of + 4% in relation to the cases registered in 14 days.

This was the first time since the start of the pandemic that the moving average of deaths from coronavirus in Brazil decreased (-17%).

In total, 3 states had a high death rate: AM, TO and CE. In relation to the sixth (4), RS was falling and went to stability. RO was climbing and moved towards stability. EC was stable and is now increasing.

Data on cases and deaths from coronavirus in Brazil were obtained after an unprecedented association between G1, O Globo, Extra, O Estado de S.Paulo, Folha de S.Paulo and UOL, which began to work, from June 8, in a collaborative way to collect the necessary information in the 26 states and the Federal District (know plus).
