There were 3,503 new cases and 357 new deaths included in the portfolio newsletter in the last 24 hours. It does not mean that they occurred within this period, but rather that they were notified to the Ministry of Health so that they are included in the daily portfolio report.
São Paulo has the highest numbers, with 17,826 cases and 1,512 deaths. In second place is Rio de Janeiro, which registers 6,282 people diagnosed and 570 deaths.

In relation to the deaths, Pernambuco appears in third place, with 352, followed by Ceará, in fourth place, with 284 deaths.
As for the number of cases, the position is reversed, with Ceará in third place in the state ranking, with 4,800 cases. And Pernambuco in fourth, with 3,999. Amazonas appears in fifth position in both classifications.
In total, 13 states have registered more than 1,000 people diagnosed to date. In addition to the five mentioned above, Bahía, Maranhão, Pará, Minas Gerais, Espírito Santo, Santa Catarina, Paraná and Rio Grande do Sul.
