There is no news in Itaquera, Faithful! Corinthians had a great performance and beat São Paulo 1-0 this Sunday, at Neo Química Arena, in a match valid for the 25th round of the Brazilian Championship. The only goal of the match was scored by midfielder Otero, still in the first half.
With the win, Timão reached 33 points and ranked ninth in the competition. Now there are nine points of difference to the relegation zone.
It should be noted that the white team maintained the taboo against their rival. In 13 games played at Neo Química Arena, Corinthians beat São Paulo ten times and drew three. In other words, they have not yet lost to the São Paulo tricolor in their stadium.

Timão maintained the same intensity as the first 45 minutes. The first good arrival came at 13 minutes. Camacho recovered the ball in the attack field and shot Cazares. The Ecuadorian rolled towards Ramiro, who finished from inside the area, but sent him out.
Mancini moved his team again in the 17th minute. With muscular discomfort, Léo Natel went to Gustavo Mosquito to enter the offensive sector. In the sequence, Reinaldo took a free kick and, after deflecting the barrier, forced Cássio to make a nice defense and send it to a corner.
At 30 minutes, an incredible move occurred in the Neo Química Arena. Volpi came out playing alone and Cazares regained possession. In the rest, Camacho received the ball, invaded the area, but was caught at the moment of finishing and the ball went over the baseline. The rival goal was left without a goalkeeper!
Later, Mateus Vital, Lucas Piton and Luan entered the Ramiro, Cazares and Otero squares, respectively. Little happened after this play and Corinthians beat leader São Paulo 1-0.
