Regarding the last appointment, coach Vagner Mancini made two changes between the starting line-ups: right-back Fagner and midfielder Ramiro entered the positions of Michel Macedo and Victor Cantillo, respectively.

With 49 points, Timão is ranked 11th in the national competition, four points behind Santos, the last classified in the G8. If they win this afternoon and can count on a combination of results, Corinthians can close the round in ninth place, one point less than the rival and reach the last round with a chance of qualifying for the Libertadores.
