The federal government established new rules for the payment of the thirteenth salary of retirees and pensioners of the National Institute of Social Security (INSS). According to a decree published in the Official Gazette of the Federation, the benefits will be anticipated in 2021 in two installments.
The first will be deposited in the August sheet and the second in November. In 2020, the plots had also been advanced by the economic impact caused by the coronavirus pandemic. How will the payment work?

Advance payment dates are expected to be released in late 2020. However, transfers generally take place in the last five business days of the month and continue through the first five of the next.
The deposit order (who gets first or last) is decided based on the amount and the final benefit number.
14th emergency salary
The anticipation of 13 of the INSS policyholders already happened in 2020. The government paid the first installment between April 24 and May 8, and the second between May 25 and June 5. Now, also due to the pandemic, the Senate is analyzing a bill that proposes to create a 14th emergency salary.
