WHAT THE TRADE SAYS

The president of the Espírito Santo Federation of Commerce, Goods, Services and Tourism (Fecomércio ES), José Lino Sepulcri, commented on the decision. According to him, the segment views with great concern the restriction of days of operation, something that was outside the planning of the sector.

“We receive this news with great concern. The planning, the calendar of the entrepreneurs was that this Monday we would start our activities again, that we would return to normal office hours. The situation of entrepreneurs is very serious. We are already receiving a demand from the interior and Gran Vitória segments. Our vision is that there will be massive layoffs and a general collapse, because the merchant has no one to appeal to, ”he said.

Raphael Brotto, state coordinator of the Brazilian Association of Shopping Centers (Abrasce) and director of Shopping Vitória, said, in a note, that he awaits the publication of the decree to study how it will work for three days a week, both for commercial purposes. operations and for the food operations of the Grande Vitória shopping centers. The other types of sales in the sector, such as delivery, take-away and drive-thru, are also pending definition.

The ordinance with the new rules for all segments, including the day and time, will be published in the Official Gazette this Saturday (3) by the State Government.
