– Some situations that we already know: we need to improve, especially in training, construction and defensive situations, which we are improving. That was the comment inside (in the dressing room), today we did not score a goal. And the creation part we have to improve, we are working for that. In the second half we improved with a start in three, going down with the winger, having more possession to try to make the attack more aggressive. Léo Natel has this feature, he played well, that’s more or less what we are going to look for. This was Coelho’s fourth match in charge of Timão. Substitute for Tiago Nunes, he had already lost to Fluminense and Sport and beat Bahia.

– We have to analyze the situations well. Change takes time. We will continue working, giving confidence to the players, making a game that they are aggressive and that they have confidence to do so. As before the loss to Sport, Corinthians had a week off to train before facing Atlético-GO, but they still repeated some problems, such as difficulty building plays.

The week was very good, the players behaved differently. They are fighting, doing what we program them, in the best way and with professionalism. We will continue, we will not let a result go down, on the contrary, we are closed and we will work more and more to get the three points – he commented.

– We have to understand that here we always have to win the games. Today I don’t know, and the players know it too. It is not comfortable to see ourselves in this position, it makes us uncomfortable to work. But working is what we are going to do to regain confidence and win games again.

Why are you fighting in the Brazilian?

– We always fight for the next game. We want to win the next game, always. This is our intention, our speech. Work, work and work. There is no other way out. When the game comes, we are doing everything possible so that the fans see that we are doing everything possible.

– One thing we talk about a lot on a day-to-day basis is that we always have to be fighting, fighting with the opponent, and that is not lacking. We will try to do this more and more. – Our intention was to put Cantillo and Roni in possession, to keep the ball, but it didn’t work very well in the first one. After the exchanges, it worked. We put everyone to do the same functions in training, the security to change and improve in the second half, as it happened.
