Civil Police and MPRJ register the addresses of Ronnie Lessa and former councilor Cristiano Girão | Rio de Janeiro

Lessa, a retired prime minister arrested for the attack on councilor Marielle Franco in 2018, and Girão are suspected of being involved in the death of a couple in 2014.

According to the investigation, Girão had the militiaman André Henrique da Silva Souza, Zóio and Juliana Sales Oliveira killed in a territorial dispute. Ronnie is investigated as the author of the double homicide.

According to the Homicide Police of the Capital, Zóio and Juliana were killed with more than 40 shots on June 14, 2014, and very similar to the attack on Marielle.

The couple were in a silver Honda Civic when at least three men in a silver Fiat Doblò approached, in motion.

Ronnie Lessa is imprisoned in the maximum security penitentiary in Porto Velho, Rondônia, together with Elcio de Queiroz, designated as the driver of the attack car.

Cristiano Girão was convicted of conspiracy and money laundering, but since 2015 he has been free in the Northeast, guarded by an ankle bracelet and prevented from returning to RJ.
