Christ the Redeemer “dressed” as a doctor this Easter Sunday (12) in honor of health professionals, in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic. A lab coat was designed on the statue.

According to the Archdiocese of Rio, Easter’s special hug is to transmit a “message of hope and encouragement during this delicate moment of the global pandemic.”
