Or case – The boy, accompanied by his brothers, ages 13 and 15, as well as another 12-year-old teenager, was in a concrete structure in the middle of the river when the water level suddenly rose. The children’s uncle, Solomon, 36, managed to lift the 13-year-old out of the water with a rope. The 12-year-old boy went out alone.
The elder, for his part, held his brother between his legs. As the rope did not reach the other victims, Solomon jumped to try to rescue his nephews, but the boy escaped before being saved. The uncle and the teenager were found about 1 hour after the incident, walking down Gunter Hans Avenue, after being able to get out of the river bed.
