The Ministry of Citizenship has confirmed that the beneficiaries of Bolsa Família will be the first to receive the extension of emergency aid. The sixth installment, in the amount of R $ 300, will begin to be paid from the day September 17. In the case of mothers who are heads of household, the benefit is R $ 600.
The schedule for those enrolled in the program, as well as previous payments, follows according to the last digit Social identification number (NIS). Extension of aid
It should be remembered that the emergency aid was created to help informal workers, individual micro-entrepreneurs (MEI), the self-employed and the unemployed during the new coronavirus pandemic. The R $ 600 benefit would be paid in three installments, but it was extended for two months.
Last week, the federal government approved a new extension, but with installments of R $ 300 until December. With the benefit set at R $ 300, the monthly cost of emergency assistance was reduced from R $ 50.8 billion to R $ 16.9 billion for the period from September to December. However, due to the reduction in the amount of the benefit, the text still has to be approved by deputies and senators.
