In early September, the Federal Government confirmed the extension of the emergency help until the end of the year with a new value. According to the provisional measure signed by President Jair Bolsonaro, more than four installments of R $ 300.
However, not all recipients will receive full residual emergency assistance. This is because payments can only be made until December 31, 2020, the expiration date of the decree of the state of public calamity due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Thus, according to the Ministry of Citizenship, only those who began to receive R $ 600 in April will be able to receive the four additional fees. The beneficiaries who received the first installment in the following months will be entitled to three installments or less. Check out:
- Whoever received the first installment of the aid in April is entitled to the four installments of R $ 300, which will be paid between September and December;
- Whoever received the first installment of the aid in May will receive three installments of R $ 300 between October and December;
- Those who received the first tranche of aid in June will receive two additional payments in November and December;
- Whoever received the first installment of the aid in July receives only one installment of R $ 300, which will be deposited in December.
Additionally, many beneficiaries will no longer receive emergency assistance. This is because the MP that establishes the additional payments has also defined new rules to receive the benefit. Therefore, they lose the right to receive those who obtained a formal job or welfare and social security benefits after receiving the aid.
There were also changes in relation to the Income Tax. The base year for the program criteria became 2019, not 2018 as in the first stage. Nor do they receive residual emergency aid from Brazilians living abroad, imprisoned in a closed regime, under 18 years of age (except in the case of teenage mothers) and who have a death certificate in the Federal Government databases.
Emergency aid payment program of R $ 300
Although the extension of emergency aid has already been formalized, the government has not yet defined the schedule for the payment of the additional fees for beneficiaries who registered through the program’s website or application and enrolled in CadÚnico.
As a result, many beneficiaries may stop receiving the four installments of R $ 300 reais, since the first payment should be made in September, which is already coming to an end. As the program ends in December, regardless of the number of installments paid, these beneficiaries can receive less, even though they are entitled to the full amount.
However, deposits of R $ 300 are already being made for the beneficiaries of Bolsa Família. The payment schedule for this group began on September 17 and runs through September 30. It is worth mentioning that the amount is credited in the same way as the regular benefit.
The payment schedule was established according to the last digit of the Social Identification Number (NIS). Check who will receive in the next few days:
- September 25 – Final NIS 7
- September 28 – Final NIS 8
- September 29 – Final NIS 9
- September 30 – Final NIS 0
It should be mentioned that it is not possible to make new registrations to receive the additional fees. The aid will be paid automatically to beneficiaries already registered and who continue to meet the program requirements.
