Always very agitated on the edge of the field, coach Rogério Ceni played another unusual moment of anger during a match in Fortaleza, valid for the Brazilian Championship and played yesterday.
In the duel against Fluminense, Ceni went crazy with a free kick from midfielder Felipe, of the northeastern team, at the start of the second half, when the match was 0-0 (see below).
After a low shot that exploded in the barrier, the former goalkeeper did not suppress his anger, which was echoed by the narrator Luiz Carlos Júnior. “Here comes Felipe, hit! At the barrier. Take Danilo Barcelos. To the despair of Professor Ceni,” said the Premiere announcer.
After the pause in the narration, it is possible to catch a curse from Ceni to the athlete: “Go take him in your …”, the coach yelled.
Ceni’s desperation increased four minutes later, when defender Roger Carvalho was sent off, leaving Fortaleza more fragile on defense.
The pressure from Fluminense paid off: in the 29th minute, the Cariocas scored the only goal of the match with Welligton Silva and declared the defeat of the agitated team of Rogério Ceni.
