Ceará records 16,692 cases and 1,114 deaths from Covid-19 – Metro

Ceará ended another day with an increase in Covid-19 cases. Until 17:15 this Sunday (10), when the last IntegraSUS update was made, the State totaled 16,692 people infected with the new Sars-CoV-2 coronavirus. Another 1,114 died after complications from pandemic disease.

Within 24 hours, 813 more positive tests and 52 deaths were recorded. The case fatality rate is 6.7%. At the same time, the State has 7,951 patients recovered since the beginning of the Covid-19 outbreak.

Of the total number of confirmations, Fortaleza continues to be the city with the highest viral circulation, since it concentrates 11,556 cases and 840 deaths.

Outside the capital, the cities with the highest contagion are Caucaia (672) and Maracanaú (379), in the Metropolitan Region. Inland, Sobral (270) and Itapipoca (201), have a negative highlight.

Statewide, Sesa notes that it investigates 28,315 cases and has already conducted 43,575 laboratory tests to assess the disease.
