The Ceará Health Department registered 1,670 confirmed cases of the new coronavirus (Sars-Cov-2) in Ceará. The data was published through the IntegraSUS platform this morning (12). The number of deaths remained the same, with 74 death records.

A case of coronavirus registered on Saturday (11) by IntegraSUS in the municipality of Forquilha, in the north of Ceará, was removed from the platform. However, two other cases were included in the Fortaleza count.

Other updated information on the platform:

  • There are 10,236 suspected cases;
  • 6,462 tests performed;
  • The mortality rate of the disease in the EC is 4.43;
  • 55 cities have Covid-19 cases

State government measures

The Governor of Ceará, Camilo Santana, announced on Thursday (9) that he will distribute 423 thousand food stamps to students in the state’s public school system. The value of the card will be R $ 80.

In a video broadcast on social media, the governor stated that he had requested equipment from the Minister of Health, Henrique Mandetta. “He made himself totally available to the State of Ceará and promised to send equipment to Ceará today,” said Camilo Santana.
