Brazil has 135,066 confirmed coronavirus deaths as of 8 am on Friday (18), according to a survey by the consortium of press vehicles based on data from state health departments.
Since the balance of 8 pm on Thursday (17), 1 state has updated its data: GO.

On Thursday, at 8:00 p.m., the balance indicated: 135,031 deaths, 857 in 24 hours. As a result, the moving average of new deaths in Brazil in the last 7 days was 779 deaths, a variation of -9% compared to the data recorded in 14 days.
As for those infected, there are already 4,457,443 Brazilians with the new coronavirus, of which 35,757 were confirmed on the last day. The moving average of cases was 31,097 per day, a variation of -22% in relation to the cases registered in 14 days.

Progression until September 17
In total, 2 states had a high mortality rate: RO and PE
BA and AP, which had a downward trend in deaths, are now stable. The DF and the states of MT, PI, SE and TO were stable and, today, show a decrease.
- Top (2 states): RO and PE.
- In stability, that is, the number of deaths did not decrease or increase significantly (11): PR, RS, MG, RJ, SP, GO, MS, AP, PA, BA and MA.
- Falling (13 states and the DF): SC, ES, DF, MT, AC, AM, RR, TO, AL, CE, PB, PI, RN and SE.

Data on cases and deaths from coronavirus in Brazil were obtained after an unprecedented association between G1, O Globo, Extra, O Estado de S.Paulo, Folha de S.Paulo and UOL, which began to work, from June 8, in a collaborative way to collect the necessary information in the 26 states and the Federal District (know plus).
