THE emergency help it will return with a value of R $ 250 per month for a period of four months. The confirmation came this week through the president of the Chamber of Deputies, Arthur Lira (PP-AL).
The proposed amendment to the Constitution (PEC), known as the Emergency PEC, was approved by the Federal Senate on Thursday, March 4.
The proposal, approved by the Senate, provides protocols to contain public spending and a series of measures that can be adopted in the event of non-compliance with the spending ceiling, a rule that limits the increase in Union spending to the inflation of the previous year. . The text also allows the resumption of emergency aid. At the first moment of the session, the basic text was approved by the senators by 62 votes to 14.
“Now on TV Record, I announced that the government will deliver 140 million vaccines for the months of March, April and May. The matter was discussed yesterday in the meeting with President Bolsonaro. Emergency aid was also agreed, which should be R $ 250 for June, ”said Lira.
After the voting period, the parliamentarians present did not accept a highlight (proposal to modify the main text), presented by Senator Paulo Rocha (PT-PA). The highlight suggested the elimination of the tranche that stipulates a limit of R $ 44 billion outside the spending ceiling for expenses with emergency aid.
Now, the text is being analyzed and evaluated by the Chamber of Deputies. According to the Speaker of the Chamber, Arthur Lira (PP-AL), the majority of the leaders agreed with the fast rite and the matter must be voted directly in the plenary session. That is, everything indicates that it will not be necessary to go through commissions.
Emergency aid in 2021: will you need to register?
The most recent round of emergency aid payments is expected to begin in March and continue until June, with a value of R $ 250. That is, 4 more installments of the benefit will be paid.
However, it is necessary to clarify the following: It will not be necessary for the citizen to make any type of new registration to receive the new quotas for emergency aid.
As mentioned above, it will not be necessary for the Brazilian citizen to register with the Federal Government. Therefore, the same beneficiaries who already registered and received last year will be the same beneficiaries who will receive this year.
But it is worth mentioning that not everyone will receive. It so happens that the Government implemented the so-called comb in order to collate the data of several Brazilians, which will reduce the number of people who will receive emergency aid. Approximately 33 million Brazilian citizens, in addition to the more than 14 million beneficiaries of the Bolsa Família program, were selected through an intersection of databases, which was used as a funnel to determine the recipients of the new round of the emergency help. The first benefit, which began to be paid in April last year, reached more than 65 million people. However, with the extension that began in September and with the distribution of the amount in half, the aid served 57 million citizens.
A platform developed by the Digital Government and Social Security and Labor departments was used to cross 11 databases. The new method will also be used for future income and employment distribution programs.
Among the 11 databases used are INSS, MEI, CNIS and Caged. With only the use of the CPF of the citizen it is possible to discern if he is an official, military, retiree, pensioner, businessman and who are his heirs / dependents in the Income Tax.
