According to the state company, around 90 million digital social savings were created for the payment of benefits in the emergency mode. The institution intends to maintain digital accounts even after the end of the pandemic, in order to guarantee the access of the low-income population to financial services.
In addition to microcredit, other products such as credit cards and insurance should also be launched. Caixa is also evaluating making Bolsa Família payments through the application. Currently, the beneficiaries must withdraw the resources of the program in person at Caixa agencies or in lotteries.

Caixa is studying the possibility of offering microcredits to users of the Caixa Tem application. According to the president of the financial institution, Pedro Guimarães, the objective is to release loans of R $ 100, R $ 200 and R $ 300 to low-income informal workers in a simple, fast and accessible way.
So far, the state company has not released details about the credit card and insurance they intend to offer through the platform.
Payments for aid and emergency withdrawals are made by Caixa Tem, and initially the funds can only be managed by the application, and after a few weeks the amount is released for withdrawals and transfers.
On the platform, the user can check the balance and statement, generate a virtual debit card to make purchases in physical and online stores, pay for water, electricity, telephone and bank bills and transfer the amount to other bank accounts.
