Those with the right to installments of R $ 600.00 may receive arrears of up to R $ 1,200.00, if the order is made from the payment of the third party. In the case of mothers who are heads of household, responsible for maintaining the home and are entitled to two monthly installments, the final amount will be R $ 3,600.00.

Sending requests

Citizens who meet the criteria to grant the benefit can apply for the aid until the last of the 90 days of validity of the measure. Registration is done through the Caixa website or application.

After registering, the beneficiary will be credited for the amount three days after the application is approved. The analysis and concession process, which is the responsibility of the Social Security technology, Dataprev, can take up to five business days.

To accompany the request, the worker simply accesses the website and / or application. There is also the option of consulting by telephone 111. Remembering that “arrears”, that is, accumulated contributions are not paid with monetary correction, as is the case with late retirement pensions and retirement grants.

Who can get emergency help?

According to the law, those who meet the following requirements at the same time can receive the benefit:

  • Not having a formal job;
  • To be 18 years old or more;
  • Have a family income of up to R $ 522.00 (half the minimum wage) or a monthly family income of up to R $ 3,135.00 (three minimum wages);
  • Not having received taxable income greater than R $ 28,559.70 in 2018;
  • Not insured by the INSS or social security benefit, obtain unemployment insurance at this time, or be part of any other government cash transfer program (except Bolsa Família).

The beneficiary must also meet at least one of the following conditions:

  • Being an individual microentrepreneur (MEI);
  • Be an individual or optional Social Security taxpayer, in the simplified plan or in the 5% plan;
  • Be informal, unemployed, autonomous or intermittent, register in the Single Registry or send the informal self-declaration on government platforms.

The emergency aid allows the accumulation of up to two installments, R $ 1,200.00, to two members of the same family, one from the aid and one from the Bolsa Familia. In this case, if the aid is greater than the scholarship, the benefit with the highest value will be paid.
