Goalkeeper Bruno scored again after ten years. Known for Flamengo’s free kick and penalty, he was later convicted and imprisoned for the murder of Eliza Samúdio, in case of great national repercussion. Today, in a semi-open regime, it competes for the Brazilian Serie D with Rio Branco-AC. Click here to see the goal!

The goalkeeper opened the scoring in a 1-1 draw this Thursday, against Bragantino-PA, at the Arena Acreana, on a penalty eight minutes into the second half. Then he suffered the tie at 23 minutes, made by Edgar, from the Pará team.

In this way, Bruno returned to balance the nets after ten years. His last goal was scored at the 2010 Brazilian Championship, taking a foul in a 2-1 loss to Fluminense on May 26.

After serving part of the sentence, Bruno obtained a court order to serve the rest of his time in prison in a semi-open regime and managed to reach an agreement with Rio Branco, after several failed attempts to perform for other clubs. The goalkeeper even wore an electronic ankle bracelet during matches and training sessions, but he no longer needs the tool.

Rio Branco-AC is fourth in Group A1, with 13 points and within the qualifying zone for the next stage, with Bragantino-PA at the top, with 17 points. Among them, Gálvez, also from Acre, with 16 points, and Fast Club, from Amazonas, with 13.
