A Brazilian couple was executed with more than one hundred rifle shots on the border between Brazil and Paraguay in the early hours of Sunday (13). Wellington Bruno Alves, 27, and Daiane Dias Constanci, 26, were caught by snipers when they were inside the car. The information is Record TV.

The two had left a casino in Pedro Juan Caballero, in Paraguay, and were already in Ponta Porã, in Mato Grosso do Sul, 323 kilometers from the capital, when they were attacked. More than 100 rifle shots were fired against the Hyundai HB20 Sedan, driven by Wellington. Following the sequence of shots, the suspects fled.

Wellington served time in a semi-open regime for drug trafficking. He had been transferred in October from Campo Grande to Ponta Porã, where the family lives. The justification was that he had small children in the city.

He is the fifth man to be executed by armed men after leaving the semi-open in the past two weeks.

Experts and teams from the 1st Ponta Porã Civil Police Station were at the scene of the crime. So far, there are no sniper leads.
