Election day for the country was marked by some crowds this Sunday (15). Difficulty finding polling stations, the absence of polling stations, and technical problems were some of the reasons.

- REAL TIME: voting by country
Voters must respect the minimum distance of 1 meter. However, in some situations, it is possible to see that the rule has not been followed. In addition, citizens must wear masks and rub their hands with alcohol before and after voting (read below). Voting lasts until 5 pm.
Change of polling place
The change of direction of the sections causes the agglomeration in Goiânia
In Goiás, the change of polling stations caused overcrowding in some electoral areas of the city. Not sure where to vote, voters gathered in front of college panels to locate the electoral college.
Before leaving home, the citizen can consult the polling place on the internet (read below).
Across the country, some areas and polling stations have moved because of the pandemic or because schools have been reformed.
Voters face lines to vote in the Goiânia section
In other parts of the city, about 40 voters face a queue to vote in a section that voters say was closed for four hours. Many have given up voting. The Regional Electoral Tribunal (TRE-GO) said it will rule on the problem this Sunday afternoon.

The change did not please the voters either. The 54-year-old driver Carlos Roberto Lopes complains of overcrowding at the São José College, in Pouso Alegre. According to him, in the last elections, section 111 was on the third floor and was empty.
In 2020, as section 114 was placed in the same room, the place was in crisis. “Now it sucks! Before we got there, there was one, at most two people, now there is this line ”.

There are also cases of queues in schools due to many people voting at the same time. Not even the anticipation of the voting time stopped the lines, as can be seen in Salvador.

An electoral zone in Queimados, in Baixada Fluminense, was completely full. Asked about the uproar, the RJ Regional Electoral Court reported that it will verify the complaint and that it only inspects electoral propaganda.

In Natal, a school was more than two hours slow to open polling stations. The delay caused a queue, confusion and a wheelchair user fell ill outside the room. According to the Regional Electoral Tribunal of RN (TRE-RN), the delay was due to the absence of the supervisor at the voting table.

In the city of Picos (PI), an electoral college was delayed more than an hour to open the doors. The reason was the missing door key. According to the electoral register, the key was not found and the lock had to be broken.

Consulting the polling place is very simple: it can be done on the website of the Superior Electoral Tribunal by name, title number or CPF of the voter. In all three cases, you must provide the date of birth and the mother’s name.
