Compared to the 14-day average, the variation was + 42%, indicating upward trend in deaths from the disease. This is what a new survey by the media consortium shows on the situation of the coronavirus pandemic in Brazil, based on data from state health departments, consolidated at 8:00 pm on Wednesday.

It is already 70 days in a row with the moving average of deaths above the thousand mark; The country now meets 15 days with this average above 2,000 daily deaths; and it is the fifth day with the average above the 2.5 thousand mark, now approaching the average of 3,000 lives lost per day.

The consortium also stated that Eleven states are at their worst pandemic yet, taking as a parameter the evolution of the moving average of deaths of each one of them: DF, ES, GO, MA, MT, MS, MG, PB, PI, SC and SP.

Balance of vaccination against Covid-19 this Wednesday (31) indicates that 17,620,872 people have already received the first dose of vaccine against Covid-19, according to data published until 8:00 p.m. The number represents 8.32% of the Brazilian population.

The second dose has already been applied to 5,091,611 people (2.40% of the country’s population) in all states and the Federal District.
