The registered country 1,940 deaths from Covid-19 in the last 24 hours and this Saturday (13) totaled 277,216 deaths. With that, the moving average of deaths in Brazil in the last 7 days reached 1,824, again a record. Compared to the 14-day average, the variation was + 51%, indicating upward trend in deaths from the disease.

This is what a new survey by the media consortium shows on the situation of the coronavirus pandemic in Brazil based on data from state health departments, consolidated at 8:00 pm on Saturday.

There are also 52 days in a row with the moving average of deaths above the 1 thousand mark, 16 days above 1.1 thousand, and by the fourteenth day the mark appears above 1.2 thousand. There have been 15 records in a row from February 27 to now.

Balance of vaccination against Covid-19 this Saturday (13) indicates that 9,667,997 people have already received the first dose of vaccine against Covid-19, according to data published until 8:00 p.m. The number represents 4.57% of the Brazilian population.

The second dose has already been applied to 3,539,612 people (1.67% of the country’s population) in all states and the Federal District.

In total, 13,207,609 doses were applied throughout the country.
